These terms explain what you can expect from SMART IEP Solutions and what we ask of you. By using this website or our services, you agree to them.
SMART IEP Solutions LLC ("SMART IEP Solutions") provides preparation and support for parents and guardians getting ready for an IEP meeting. That includes reviewing your child's documents in plain English, prep calls, and, where offered, attending the meeting with you as a calm, prepared presence.
We are not a law firm, and we do not provide legal representation or legal advice. Using this website or our services does not create an attorney-client relationship. We are not a substitute for a special education attorney or advocate. When a situation calls for legal counsel or formal advocacy, we will say so and encourage you to seek it.
We prepare and support you. We do not control the decisions your child's school or IEP team makes, and we cannot promise a specific result from any meeting. What we commit to is doing thorough, honest work to help you walk in prepared.
Consultations and calls are booked through our scheduling tool. Please give as much notice as you can if you need to reschedule, so we can offer the time to another family.
Service fees are quoted clearly before you commit. Prices shown on the website are current at the time of listing and may change. Where a flat fee is stated, it is the fee for that service as described. Payment is handled securely through our payment provider; we do not store your full card details.
Our Meeting-Ready guarantee mirrors the promise on our homepage: if you send your child's current IEP, attend the prep call, and still do not walk into your meeting knowing what to ask, what your IEP is missing, and what to say when the room moves fast, we will prepare you again at no additional charge before your next meeting. The same free re-preparation applies if your meeting is postponed or your situation changes before it happens. The specific steps and any time limits for a given service are described when you book it.
We treat the information and documents you share as confidential and handle them as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not share them with your child's school or anyone else, except with the service providers that help us store and secure them, unless you ask us to or the law requires it.
The content, materials, and design of this website, along with the name and mark "SMART IEP Solutions," belong to us. Any worksheets, scripts, or prep materials we provide are for your own personal use in preparing for your meeting, and may not be resold or redistributed.
Our services and this website are provided on an "as is" basis, which means we offer them as they are, without hidden promises beyond what these terms and our guarantee state. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or services. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top. Your continued use of the website or services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
